God bless Honda for using plain ol' Honda parts on Acura products! According to my math I can buy an exhaust tip and dipstick from the Honda dealer for the amount the Acura dealer charges for just the exhaust tip. Same part numbers and all and it's much closer to my house.

My only regret is not being able to fulfill my dream of driving to the snooty Acura dealer in my ratty (but sound!) Integra and parking next to a bunch of NSXs like it belongs there. LIKE IT BELONGS THERE.

Well, there's supposed to be a new NSX coming out soon, approximately the same time as the NJ Grand Prix happens hahaha

Why would you buy either of those things from the dealer though?

And Toyota/Lexus, Ford/Lincoln, GM, and Nissan/Infiniti are the same way

NAPA and O'Reilly don't have what I want and there's a Honda dealer conveniently located in my city. It's cheaper to buy there than to order off eBay or wait and save $2 on used parts from Craigslist.

Well, yeah, to the rest of the world, Acura is Honda. They weren't going to use plain ol' Toyota or BMW parts... :)

It must be magic!

You can also buy Acura-only parts at Honda parts counters, but you might need the part number because some of them can't search the data bases.

But I need to swap in a SR20DET if I'm going to win Race Wars!

No. You just need a VTEC controller to make sure the VTEC just kicked in, yo.
